Kinematic

Kinematic is a software package for differential GPS positioning.

Kinematic talks to several types of inexpensive GPS receivers and calculates their position relative to each other.

Current accuracy is probably 20-50 cm, depending on the receivers, antennas and environment. The long term goal, or "Holy Grail", is accuracy of a couple cm over distances of 4-5 miles.

Kinematic is both an application and a tools library. The application does post processing, and the library can be embedded into realtime applications.

Kinematic is open source software under the Gnu public license.
